The Art of Architecture at Newhaven Fort

28 May and 31 May: tour around Newhaven Fort, highlighting the architectural details which will be used for inspiration in the workshop that follows with a local artist using mixed media. Suitable for 7 years upwards. 14.00-16.00 1 June, 12.30: tour of the counterscarp galleries. Underground galleries with paintings dating from WWII, which were made by the Air Sea Rescue stationed at the Fort. Please note that there are many steps to negotiate.
